A Sense of Place Works with the African Community Center to Help a Family

A Sense of Place (“ASOP”) recently worked on another project with the ECDC – African Community Center of Las Vegas (“ACC”) to help another displaced family.  ASOP helped decorate and organize this apartment in Las Vegas thanks to community donations. The ACC is a multicultural resource center dedicated to helping refugee/newcomers to Las Vegas with a wide range of educational, social, and other support services.  As part of the ACC’s programs, the ACC provides housing and some furniture (but no home décor) to those relocating to Southern Nevada through Federal grants and community donations.
